Terms and conditions for use of images as agreed between Azote and our customers.

Bying any images and/or material from Azote directly or via the online site, you agree to be bound by the following conditions:

1. Credit line and copyright notice
For editorial uses, you shall include a copyright notice and photo/illustrator credit adjacent to each image. The format of the credit should be "© photographers or illustrators name/azote.se" or as otherwise specified by Azote. Should credit and copyright notice be left out or incorrect you will be charged the invoice amount + 100%. Use of image without approval from Azote prior to publication will result in a charge equal to the invoice amount + 200%.

2. Copyright
The image is the property of the photographer and Azote. Images may only be used according to pupurses presented to Azote. Unauthorized use of images constitutes copyright infringement, and any use contrary to any restrictions is prohibited. The price stated in the price list refers to one-time usage. Should the image be re-used, Azote must be contacted. You may not make any modifications or alterations of the images (except for standard color correction or minor cropping for space limitations) unless approved by Azote. Use of images for sketch basis, originals and such or copying will be billed acording to price list as for normal usage. Some images have been restricted in their use by the copyrighter. If an image has restictions it is stated adjacent to it, and the buyer accepts full responibility for following them. Depending on the character of the image certain laws may restrict the usage. Permission must then be obtained from owner, e.g. for a trademark or copyright. Azote is not liable to you or any other third party for any damage arising out of or relating to misuse of images ditributed by Azote. Images obtained from Azote may not be sold or otherwise transferred to third party without permission from Azote.

3. Model releases/clearances
Persons depicted in an image have to give their approval before the image is used for commercial purposes. You shall assume that no model releases exist in connection with any of the images unless specifically stated in a separate writing by Azote. Any license granted by Azote is conditioned upon your obtaining all necessary third-party permissions and paying possible model fees. Azote is not liable to you or any other third party for damage arising from commercial use of images without model releses. Azote may act as intermediary if you want to contact persons for model releses.

4. Ethical principles
Azote has the exclusive right to refuse publication of images obtained from Azote if the use of the image is in violation of our ethical principles. Images containing persons may under no circumstances be used in a way that depicts them in a unfavourable manner or ridicule them.

5. Image use report
The stated contact person is responsible Azote for presenting image use for all images obtained from Azote on-line site within two (2) weeks of downloading. After production you shall, if possible, provide Azote with a copy of any printed product or publication you create using the images free of charge, or in the case of web publications send us a link to the relevant web site.

6. Payment
Payment is due within thirty (30) days after your receipt of an invoice or the date specified on the invoice, whichever comes first. Late payment will be charged with penal interest. Reminder to pay will involve an extra fee as prescribed by law.
The conditions stated above are valid in all cases unless otherwise stated.
