A young grizzly (a.k.a. brown bear) wanders the shoreline on a low tide by large mussel beds. Brown bears are impressive animals with distinctive muscular shoulders and omnivorous appetites. While they enjoy feeding on abundant vegetation, berries and salmon, they will also forage the tidal zone eating barnacles and small fish trapped at low tide. (Fotograf: Steven Zeff)
